Rating by category:
The hotel is in a good position for visiting Sevilla. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Our bedroom and bathroom were big enough for a family of four people. I enjoied the old style of the hall.
The continental breakfast was not very good in comparison to the price.
The hotel´s got a very authentic andalusian style patio. The front desk staff were very helpful and seemed to be pleased to help. You can leave luggage there after check out, in case you have a late flight.
The location of this hotel was excellent - walking distance to most of the big tourist attractions in this charming city. Staff were helpful. There are internet facilities - wireless in the reception area and a computer which you can use for a couple of Euro for an hour.
We got a family room for 3 adults, which was awkward because the two rooms are not separated with a door. However, for a family, the room would be perfect and it was fine for a few days. Going back though, I would have preferred my own room.
Charming old building with nice covered patio, with free tea, coffee and cookies in the afternoon. Good central location, easy walking distance to main sights. Friendly staff. Free wifi, but not in the rooms.
My room, the bathroom, the tv and the breakfast room were smallish. The hotel is on a very narrow street, which means that cars are passing at 50 cm from the front door.
The staff is kind and very cheerful. The hotel has a unique traditional Andaluz design and we can see that it has just been restored, which is very positive. Very central and easy to find.
Location in Seville, cleanliness of rooms, free cafe bar, free wifi. Overall shared decor was beautiful.
Bathrooms very small.
The general atmosphere and the splendid central courtyard so typical of Spain. The friendliness of the staff and the excellent location in the old town, even though one has to get used to the maze of streets in order to find it again.
The only problem is the lack of a pavement at the main entrance and care is needed, for a very narrow road it is surprisingly busy.
Boutique, convenient for shopping and site-seeing.
The hotel looks like a Boutique Hotel, converted from a historic apartment. The location is in a small lane with busy traffic, like most of hotels in old town. Minutes away from shopping areas and most attractions (You may need GPS on Google to navigate the small route and will realise that it is indeed very close to the Cathedral and Alcazar). A big big supermarket "SuperSol" is just 2 minute away. Directly opposite Abanico is a small local bar where you can find beers and tapas at cheap price at late night (the girl staff who does not speak English is indeed very friendly).
My room does not come with window. The lane is just outside hotel door (10cm away?) and you really need to be careful not to be run over by the constant traffic.
Very beautiful boutique style hotel, good location for exploring Seville.
Lots of insects at lavatory. Inferior smell in the hotel.
Very helpful staff; the hotel is clean and well-presented - beautiful interior in a traditional building close to the historic centre of Seville. All the major sites were within walking distance - no need to bother with public transport. Close to shops, cafes, bars.
No problems with this hotel. It was ideal.
The lobby was beautiful, The staff was helpful and it was near to shopping. The breakfasts were a great value and had a good assortment to choose from, especially for the children.
It is close to the city center. Clean and nice and with good breakfast
It was not that easy to reach him from the bus station
Best location in the city; very affordable, very comfortable. This is not a fancy hotel, but I go to Sevilla to see Sevilla, not hang out in the hotel.
